This course is designed to get you current, confident, and up-to-speed on the latest skills and knowledge you need to fly safely.


What You'll Achieve


The main goal? You'll walk away with the aeronautical skills and experience required to fully exercise the privileges of your existing pilot certificate. Plus, you'll receive a Flight Review (Part 61.56) endorsement.

🧠 Ground School Highlights


You'll spend

4 hours covering key knowledge areas, including:


  • Regulations and Procedures: We'll dive into the important parts of 14 CFR Parts 61 and 91, including VFR weather minimums and traffic rules.

  • Modern Flying: Get familiar with Technically Advanced Aircraft (TAA) Operations, Electronic Flight Bags (EFB) like ForeFlight™, GPS navigation, and autopilot operations.

  • Essential Knowledge: Refresh your memory on the importance of V-speeds, use of trim and flaps, and aircraft/equipment emergencies.


🛩️ Flight Instruction Breakdown (6.0 Hours)


You'll train in our

Piper Cherokee 180 (PA-28-180) aircraft , with dedicated lessons for core maneuvers:


  1. Basic Flight Maneuvers (1.0 hr): Normal and crosswind takeoffs/landings, steep turns, and traffic pattern procedures.

  2. Performance Maneuvers (2.0 hrs): Short and soft field takeoffs/landings, slow flight, stalls (power-on and power-off), and Spin Awareness.

  3. Emergency Operations (1.5 hrs): Practice simulated engine failures, emergency descents, and partial panel flying.

  4. Cross Country (1.5 hrs): Utilize GPS/VOR navigation, EFB utilization, and practice controlled airport operations.
